The Library of Journals

Kai, following in his father’s footsteps, began to document everything he observed in Valyria. At first they were scattered notes, sketches on scraps of paper, and taped-down soil samples. Over time, he gathered them into a Library of Journals — a collection of bound notebooks that look less like polished texts and more like scientist-meets-dreamer field logs.

These journals are his way of making sense of the secret files he found in his father’s home office, mixed with his own imagination and schoolboy note-taking. Some entries are detailed. Others are half-finished thoughts written in a hurry before he had to sneak out.

I encourage you to look through these journals and see if you can find the elements I’ve described and hidden in the room. The glowing soils, the floating shards, the strange rocks, even whispers of mutated creatures — they’re all here, waiting to be discovered.

The alien world of Valyria exists only in these pages and in this room. Learn more about it, explore its mysteries, and decide for yourself what’s real.

Some journal covers are real images and others I asked AI to create what it thinks these weird things I never seen before look like.

02

Valyria

Kai tries to sound out the name, explains what he thinks Valyria is, admits he’s only 12, sneaks into his dad’s home office, sometimes relying on memory, and wonders if life exists there.

The Donation

In-world but also practical: tells visitors about Energize Tacoma, the nonprofit; Bigfoot money bank for cash; QR code for electronic donations; the goal of expanding to a larger space with more rooms, experiences, and immersive projections.
