Canvas Art Collective

The Canvas Art Collective, a program of Energize Tacoma, is a vibrant initiative dedicated to celebrating and supporting the artistic community by providing a shared space for diverse talents to be displayed and appreciated. This collective transforms the walls of the Painting Panda Pottery Studio into a dynamic gallery, featuring a permanent exhibition of wall art from artists of various styles and mediums. By offering high visibility in a high-traffic area, the Canvas Art Collective creates significant opportunities for artists to engage with art enthusiasts, potential buyers, and the broader community, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where creativity can flourish.

Kai's Room (Inner Sanctum)

Kai’s Room is an immersive art experience that blends mystery, storytelling, and interactive design to transport visitors into a world of discovery. Rooted in the overarching Inner Sanctum narrative, the exhibit follows the story of Kai, a curious child who stumbles upon his father’s classified aerospace research, leading him to uncover a hidden world of extraterrestrial secrets, government cover-ups, and strange phenomena tied to Tacoma’s history.

Designed as a fully interactive environment, Kai’s Room invites visitors to explore, touch, and decipher clues embedded within the space. From cryptic documents to hidden messages and surreal artifacts, each detail tells a piece of the larger mystery. This experience is part of a broader effort to cultivate immersive art in Tacoma, providing both artists and the public with a unique, hands-on creative encounter.

Visitors can expect a mix of science fiction, local folklore, and artistic ingenuity, making Kai’s Room an unforgettable journey into the unknown. Project is funded by Tacoma's Office of Arts & Cultural Vitality.
