On July 14, Tacoma lost an iconic and beautiful symbol when a fire destroyed the mural located at 1100 Dock Street along Tacoma's waterfront. Featuring the simple yet profound word "EMPATHY," the mural held deep meaning for many in our community.

Situated directly across from the recently opened Melanie Dressel Park, the mural offered a powerful message to children at the playground and to everyone passing by. We must take action to restore this cherished piece of our city. Please sign the petition to replace the mural and help right this wrong.
